Job Overview

Security SCG is hiring a skilled and licensed Low Voltage Electrician to support our growing security installation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running low-voltage cabling, connecting power supplies for security devices, and assisting with system installations such as CCTV, alarms, intercoms, and access control. This role is ideal for electricians who are experienced in 12V/24V systems and want to work in a specialized, fast-growing field.

Key Responsibilities

Install and terminate low-voltage cabling for security systems including CCTV, alarm panels, access control, and intercoms
Mount and connect power supplies, transformers, and backup batteries
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
Troubleshoot electrical and power-related issues in installed security equipment
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
Work closely with the security installation team to deliver complete system solutions
Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and inspections
Perform on-site assessments for wiring and power planning

Required Skills and Qualifications

2–5 years of hands-on experience in low-voltage electrical work
Valid electrician license or certification
Familiarity with cabling standards, conduit installation, and power supply wiring
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose wiring and circuit issues
Understanding of security systems wiring such as CCTV, alarms, and intercoms
Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with security installation companies
OSHA safety training or equivalent certifications
Experience with commercial or industrial low-voltage systems
