Job Overview

Security SCG is hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Alarm System Installer to join our technical team. You will be responsible for installing, programming, and servicing intrusion detection systems, fire alarms, and panic alarms across residential and commercial sites. If you have a background in low-voltage systems and a passion for safety technology, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure alarm systems including wired and wireless panels.
Set up motion sensors, glass break detectors, door/window contacts, smoke and heat detectors.
Program alarm panels and integrate them with monitoring systems.
Conduct system testing and walkthroughs with clients.
Identify and troubleshoot issues in wiring, devices, or panels.
Ensure all installations follow manufacturer specs and local safety codes.
Maintain accurate records of completed installations and maintenance visits.
Provide customer training on alarm system use and emergency protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–2 years of experience installing or servicing alarm systems.
Familiarity with systems from brands like DSC, Honeywell, Bosch, or similar.
Understanding of electrical and low-voltage wiring.
Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Basic knowledge of alarm monitoring and phone/internet integration.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and on a team.
Valid driver’s license preferred for field-based work.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with both residential and commercial systems.
Familiarity with fire alarm panel installation is a plus.
Certification in electronic security or low-voltage systems (optional but valued).
